Biography
As a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, and the Philadelphia Water Color Society, the work of Delaware County Artist Nancy Barch has traversed the United States.
Ms. Barch has garnered a number of coveted awards for her work in a variety a media including Best of Show in the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, the Elizabeth Shober Hooper Award and the Emerton Heitland Memorial Award with the Philadelphia Watercolor Society, the Pulsifer Award with the Adirondacks National Touring Exhibition, the Daler-Rowney Award and Silver Brush Award with the Kentucky Aqueous Touring Exhibition, and the Peterson Memorial Award with the National Society of Casein and Acrylic Painters.
In addition to her busy exhibition schedule, Nancy teaches painting workshops throughout the United States and Europe. Nancy has received commissions from the Liberty Properties Group, Scotties Tissues, the McDonalds LPGA Golf Classic, and the American Cancer Society. Her work is included in many corporate collections, such as Morgan Stanley, Liberty Properties, Bank America, FIS Corp. She is represented by the Art Works gallery at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
